Set up Stripe payments
MyShopie uses Stripe Connect so you keep your own Stripe relationship. Connect payments before taking live orders.
Connect Stripe
Section titled “Connect Stripe”- In admin go to Settings → Apps → Payments (or the Payments app card).
- Click Connect with Stripe and complete Stripe’s onboarding.
- Return to MyShopie and confirm onboarding complete / charges enabled.
Until Connect finishes, checkout may stay in test or disabled mode depending on your environment.
What merchants get
Section titled “What merchants get”- Online card payments on the storefront
- Express wallets where your theme and Stripe account support them
- Terminal / in-person payments when POS is enabled
MyShopie does not take a cut of your Stripe volume; your plan covers the platform.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- If the onboarding link fails, verify Stripe API keys on the platform and retry.
- Use Stripe’s dashboard for disputes, payouts, and tax settings.
