Connect a POS device

Prerequisites

Section titled “Prerequisites”
  • POS module enabled for your plan / apps
  • At least one inventory location / branch
  • Stripe Connect completed for card present payments (when using Terminal)

Pair the device

Section titled “Pair the device”
  1. In admin, open POS → Registers (or Locations / Registers) and create a register.
  2. On the device, open the MyShopie POS app and sign in with a staff account that has cashier permissions.
  3. Select the store and register when prompted.
  4. Open a shift before taking sales.

Tips

  • Keep devices on a stable network; POS is cloud-first.
  • Use manager PIN for voids and refunds per your override policy.
