POS permissions reuse the same staff roles configured in admin.

Typical roles

Cashier — ring sales, accept payment, limited voids
Manager / Admin — overrides, refunds, shift management, PIN approval

Set a manager override PIN in staff settings when required by your policy.

Best practices

Do not share owner credentials on the floor.
Invite cashiers with the Cashier role only.
Review override logs in the web admin regularly.
